On Thursday, August 28 the Westview Volleyball team played against Gretna East High School and Duchesne Academy in a triangular match. They won against Duchesne 2-1, then lost against Gretna East 2-1.
One player, Riley Dungen, 12 said, “We played very confident and were ready to play them.”
She also added, “Our Defense adjusted a lot and out serving was on point.”
In the triangular match Westview went against Gretna East and they stole a set from them set from Gretna East but lost in the end. Westview also played Duschene Academy and came out with a win at home.
Rylee Meysenburg, 12, captain of the volleyball team said, “We wanted to win really bad.”
She also said, “So we’re getting into the groove of things and just are progressing each set and its showing in our play.”
Chloe Truitt, 12, said, “The game was really fun and a great way to the end the night.”
