
Last weekend, the Westview JV football team faced Papillon La-Vista South at home for their first competition of the year. The Wolverines ended the game with a loss, 6-13.
Westview defensive lineman Cameron Reed, 11, reached the end zone scoring the first JV points of the year. Reed scored after recovering a fumble and walking into the end zone.
Davis Vontz, 10, said, “Our whole team fought hard, especially our defense. I think our defense really played well and kept us in the game.”
Next Saturday, the Wolverines are facing Bellevue West at the Thunderbirds stadium. Westview is heading into the game, hoping to kick off a great season.
