The Colorado School Shooting happened on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. The shooting happened at Evergreen High School. The shooting broke out around 12:24 pm and the shooter wounded two students. After all the chaos the shooter firing died by using the weapon on himself.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, one student had minor injuries and was released from the hospital on Wednesday night. The other student shot is still in the hospital and in critical condition, Common Spirit St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood said on Thursday.
There has been forty-seven school shooting in this year alone. Twenty-four were colleges and twenty-three were K-12 schools. There have been 19 deaths, and 77 people have been injured in the shootings. This brings questions about our safety in schools and about the gun violence and gun safety in our country.
