On September 15, Westview staff were able to grab a couple of slices of pizza from the office during their lunch.
Williamsburg Pizza, a newly opened restaurant off 168 Audrey St., collaborated with Mr. Lee to surprise the staff and show some appreciation for them.
Mr. Lee knew the accountant from Williamsburg Pizza since he used to coach and work with him. His connection was what helped get the pizza for Westview. This was also a chance for the newly opened place to advertise their brand and let some people sample their pizza.
Williamsburg offered a variety of their New York style pizza for the staff, including classics like the Pepperoni and Margherita, but also unique kinds like the Grandma which includes pecorino, basil, parmgigiano-reggiano, olive oil, garlic, homemade fresh mozzarella & tomato sauce.
“I can see working with them in the future. We’ll put them on the list for coaches to feed their teams and freshmen lunch and learns, the ideas are up to the staff,” said Mr. Lee.
Westview will likely collaborate with Williamsburg Pizza again, allowing both staff and students to enjoy a bite of local Omaha food.
