Williams grows through Volleyball
Stella Williams, 9, played against Buena Vista on October 4th as middle blocker for the Varsity Volleyball Team. Williams has played volleyball since she was young.
“Volleyball will always be something that I remember,” Williams said.
Before games, Williams’ favorite snack is apple sauce with a baby spoon, along with a PB&J. As for her team they warm up and do a few chants to get ready to play.
“We get to build the culture for future Westview teams,” she said.
Williams has learned trust and communication are the most important parts of volleyball.
“We’re always there for each other,” she said.
