Dearest Gentle Reader, did you hear Bridgerton part one season 4 was released this January.
One path this season focuses on Benedict Bridgerton and his Cinderella-Esque love story. But it is known that Benedict is loath to the idea of settling down as his two other brothers have.
I love how there is a story with one of the Bridgertons not wanting a true love story.
In the first episode, he finds someone who may change that idea, but with her identity hidden, we are not sure if Benedict will keep his fantasy of a dream girl for long.
Another path you see is Lady Danbury and the Queens friendship feeling rather tense. Also, maybe a new lady in waiting for the Queen that is actually up to her standards.
You also see Colin and Penelope Bridgerton, and Francesca and John Stirling finding their path in all being newlyweds.
It is nice that they do not cut out there storylines and they continue to show a little of their relationships. It also shows the different struggles they are having which nicely gives a perspective from both sides.
Something that is bothering me about this season is the mystery of Lady Whistledown is gone. Now that her identity has been revealed, the Queen is using her more as a pawn and to write what the Queen sees fit. The whole idea of her writing was a powerful woman being able to have an opinion and it added some mystery to the show.
Whether you wish for Benedict to get his prince ending or not, there is no denying that this story is worth the watch, and you’ll find me cozied up on my couch watching the second half that dropped today.
