On Friday, October 31, Westview High got the chance to play in the first round of playoffs for the 2025 football season.
Westview played Millard South on Halloween night at MIllard South’s home field, Buell Stadium. They were pushed to a loss due to Millard South’s strong offense. The wolverines did their best to hold Millard South to 45 points while on defense and also managed to score a field goal on offense. This made for a final score of 45-3.
Scott Miner II, 10, ended the game throwing 86 yards. Kingston Moore, 10, picked up 92 receiving yards. Despite the wolverines hard fight, they were unable to come out on top against this stacked team.
As the wolverines’ football season comes to an end, they are proud to be A6 District Champions. They ended the season with a record of 6-4.
