On Sunday, December 14th, the Nebraska Cornhuskers faced the Texas A&M Aggies in the NCAA Regional Championships.
Nebraska, being 33-0 for their whole season and winning five national championships previously, was a bit distraught after the loss.
Winning 3-2 with incredibly close sets, Texas A&M enters the final four. Dominating the net and outblocking the Huskers 30-16, Kyndal Stowers has 25 kills and 16 digs, Logan Lednicky has 24 kills, and Emily Hellmuth has 13 kills. Ifenna Cos-Okpalla had three solo blocks and five block assists.
The Huskers took 10 set points, forcing the game into sets. Harper Murray had 25 kills, Rebekah Allick 15 kills, and Bergan Reilly 13 digs. Andi Jackson struggled with six kills, hitting .045 for the match.
Knocking the No. 1 overall seed Nebraska Huskers out of the regional championships, Texas A&M goes on to face the Pittsburgh Panthers on Thursday, December 18.
